 FINSTRUCTION RECORD OF TAKYDROMUS SEXLINEATUS, DAUDIN 1802(REPTILIA:LACERTIDAE)   This is a first record for Bhutan's herpetofauna list. It was confirmed  by Bhutan's biologist Jigme Tsheltrim Wangyal, Dy. Chief Forest Officer of Jigme Khesar Strict Nature Reserve in Haa district soon after it was first uploaded for id request in Reptiles and Amphibians of Bhutan. There were a lot of discussionThis lizard has a long tail (4 to 5 times ) longer than its body and was sighted under a slab of rock in a place surrounded by orange orchard. There were two individuals sun basking on an open area on the rock. During the first sighting it was understood with a snake but later confimed as one of the lizards. The surrounding seems to be a suitable habitat for this species to look for its easy preys.Not only a new species but also a first time record of a new family and genus Takydromus.
