Armeria sp., commonly known as Sea Pinks is a little, coastal plants native to California through Oregon, bearing puff-like flowers ranging in color from white to the more common pinks and lavenders on mossy green foliage in small mounds. Freely flowering from late winter through early summer. Full sun. Enjoys regular watering but can endure dry periods in cool, coastal areas. Hardy to 0° F, and excellent in mountain/alpine climates.
