Jessica Williams is the Host and Producer of Living Local 15, our new lifestyle talk show. She joined WANE 15 in August 2022.
She brings over a decade of media and marketing experience to this role. Jessica is a Dallas, Texas native and graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Communications and minor in Advertising. After interning at WFAA and KXAS in Dallas, Jessica gained her business acumen by working in corporate management and then as Communications Director for a non-profit.
Jessica then relocated to Los Angeles, and started her own Marketing Firm, becoming a full-time entrepreneur for many years. She’s a skilled brand strategist, graphic designer and video editor. She simultaneously worked in media as an entertainment correspondent and creator of original content. She reported from the red carpet, and co-hosted the aftershow of Big Brother and So You Think You Can Dance on Afterbuzz TV. Jessica is also a public speaker, and enjoys emceeing business conferences, galas, music festivals and events.
When the pandemic hit, Jessica returned to Texas to be closer to her family and enjoyed that quality time back in her hometown. In 2022, Jessica was ready for a new challenge and was thrilled at the opportunity to help create our lifestyle show from scratch, so she accepted the position at WANE 15 and relocated to Indiana. Jessica loves meeting new people and is very excited to experience our city, our seasons – and share her exploration of all things lifestyle here, on Living Local 15. For hobbies, Jessica loves to cook, dance, binge her favorite shows, travel, try new things and live a positive life! She is also a proud member of the historic Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
