The work of Richard Hamilton

Considered as one of the most influential British artists of the 20th century, Richard Hamilton was a pioneer of Pop Art, which he developed through his work until his death in 2011. A multi-disciplinary artist, he channeled his talents into painting, collage, photography and television, through which he denounced consumer society and addressed prominent contemporary issues. In a new exhibition, London's Tate Modern invites reflection on the different media used by the artist in an unique retrospective that for the first time presents pieces spanning his entire 60-year career. Exclusively on Vogue Hommes International, take a look at ten key works from the show, on until May 26 2014.
