KAKA is said to be eyeing a sensational return to AC Milan.

The playmaker made 307 appearances over two stints with the Rossoneri and won the Scudetto and a Champions League title.

After returning for a season-long deal in 2013, he then had a year with Sao Paulo before heading to the MLS.

With his three years in Orlando drawing to a close, Kaka is said to be weighing up whether to prolong his career in Milan or his homeland.

He cried on his final home appearance for Orlando City against Columbus Crew at the weekend.

The former Ballon d'Or winner just missed the goal from a free kick but the home side could not give the Brazil star a dream farewell.

The 35-year-old midfielder announced Wednesday that he would not return to the club in 2018.

Kaka has been with Orlando City since the team's first MLS season in 2015 and scored the team's first-ever goal.

Orlando wrap up the season next Sunday at Philadelphia, but Kaka is not expected to play.

Kaka brought the crowd to its feet in the 38th minute with a free kick from the left side outside the box that flew just over the crossbar.

He also sent a free kick from the edge of the penalty area over the goal in the 89th minute for Orlando's last decent chance.
