Bruce Willis' daughter Rumer Willis is really missing her dad, as she shared in a heartfelt Instagram post following his dementia diagnosis.

The star was diagnosed with aphasia in Spring 2022 and later in early 2023, his family revealed he also had dementia. They said: "Bruce has always found joy in life - and has helped everyone he knows to do the same. It has meant the world to see that sense of care echoed back to him and to all of us."

He was specifically diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) which can change a person's behavior and personality. In her Instagram post his daughter wrote: "Really missing my papa today."

Rumer's post included a cute old photo of Bruce, shirtless, holding baby Rumer. She was dressed in a pretty white sundress with a matching headband. One person commented: "I cannot even imagine. My heart and prayers go out to you. I'm also sending you a sincere tight hug. Blessings to you."

Bruce's other daughter, Tallulah, also posted a similar tribute. She captioned hers: "Damn, these photos are hitting tonight. You're my whole damn heart and I'm so proud to be your Tallulah Belle Bruce Willis."

She shared a bunch of old photos, including one where she's sitting on her dad's lap. In the picture, they're both dressed casually, with Bruce in jeans and a black zip-up jumper, and Tallulah in jean overalls with a collared shirt. She also showed off her license to highlight her name, giving a sweet nod to her dad.

His wife Emma Heming Willis has also talked about how this has affected her. She wrote in Maria Shriver's Sunday Paper: "When I'm able to get out for a hike to clear my head, it's not lost on me that not all care partners can do that. When what I share about our family's journey gets press attention, I know that there are many thousands of untold, unheard stories, each of them deserving of compassion and concern."

Recently, Bruce, 68, was spotted out and about in Los Angeles, keeping a low profile in a black hoodie and riding in a vehicle. Reportedly, the Sixth Sense actor is now "not totally verbal" according to a friend and former co-worker Glenn Gordon Caron.
