Chef Chakall will be on the terrace of Tertúlia Algarvia, on Sunday, June 29, doing a live cooking demonstration, using the most iconic gastronomy utensil in the region: the cataplana.

This event starts at 19 pm, right after a photo session that the Argentine Chef will do for the book of the Cataplana Algarvia project.

In addition to publishing this publication, the initiative includes live cooking demonstrations, recording videos of recipes, developing two gastronomic experience programs for restaurants and tour operators, as well as FAM and Press Trips, in Portugal and Spain.

This project is being promoted by the association Tertúlia Algarvia, in partnership with Turismo do Algarve and the Associação de Turismo do Algarve, with funding from the Algarve 21 Operational Programme.

filled schedule

Chakall's arrival is just one of the events scheduled at Tertúlia Algarvia for the coming months.

Also in the culinary field, a class on aromatic herbs is scheduled for the 20th of July by Mobin Charters.

In music, the three performances of Discossauro stand out: June 25th, July 24th and August 21st. The first is entirely composed of music from around the world, taking advantage of the fact that we are in the days of the Football World Cup.

In addition to enjoying regional and Mediterranean delicacies, those who visit this space can also discover the work of artists who, in some way, are linked to the region.

Until the 30th of June, an exhibition of illustrations by Begoña True and another one with works by the finalists of the Communication Design and Animated Image Course at the University of Algarve will be on display.

On the 31st of July, Bruno Boto's exhibition ends, with drawings and paintings on black and white photographs of Vila-Adentro, the place where Tertúlia Algarvia is located.
