Former AC Milan and Italy striker Filippo Inzaghi has taken charge of Venezia.
The 42-year-old Inzaghi, who also played for Juventus, managed Milan in the 2014/15 season, but was replaced by Sinisa Mihajlovic after guiding them to a disappointing 10th in the Italian top flight.
"Venezia FC announces that it has reached an agreement with Filippo Inzaghi for the technical guidance of the first team," the third division club announced.
"The agreement will be formalised on July 1 with the signing of Inzaghi and his staff with the Arancioneroverde."
Inzaghi will be officially presented in his new role on Wednesday.
