Kate Moss & Daughter Lila’s Twinning Moment at Dior Show Will Have You Doing a Double Take

Kate Moss is proving that her genes run strong in daughter Lila Grace, 21, and there another supermodel generation continuing in the fashion scene. The mother-daughter duo made a splash at the Dior Homme fashion show during Paris Fashion Week Menswear Fall/Winter 2024-2025 on Friday.

Kate and Lila sat in the front row looking more like sisters than two different generations in their family. Moss, who just turned 50 on Jan. 16, looked so chic in form-fitting black pants, knee-high black boots, and a sleeveless turquoise shirt with intricate beading. She wore her hair in soft waves that framed her face and kept her makeup simple with a dewy, natural glow.

Lila showed off her flair for fashion with a tailored gray jacket paired with trendy black velvet pants and black boots. Her hair was sleekly styled straight, but her golden baby-blonde hue matched her mom. The rising model loves following in Kate’s footsteps, especially when it comes to stealing her mom’s intrinsic style.

“It’s so funny because I copy her outfits consistently,” she said in a 2023 Vogue video segment. She loves raiding her mom’s closet, but there is one area that is strictly off-limits: her shoe wardrobe. “I can’t steal her shoes, which is devastating. She’s a size 6 and I’m a size 5 and it’s one of my biggest regrets,” Lila revealed.

Kate, who is probably best known for her 1990s’ Calvin Klein campaigns, got to see her daughter make her mark with the designer in 2022 — 30 years after her first iconic campaign. It was a momentous occasion, but it’s also a reminder that Kate didn’t love working with Mark Wahlberg on the project decades ago. “I had a nervous breakdown when I was 17 or 18, when I had to go and work with Marky Mark and Herb Ritts,” she recalled on BBC Radio 4 show Desert Island Discs. “It didn’t feel like me at all. I felt really bad about straddling this buff guy. I didn’t like it. I couldn’t get out of bed for two weeks. I thought I was going to die.”

She talked about the “massive pressure” she felt and how “nobody takes care of you mentally” in the fashion industry. Kate added, “I didn’t like it. But it was work, and I had to do it.” The supermodel’s experience is a cautionary tale about the dark side of the fashion industry, but hopefully, Kate prepared Lila to use her powerful voice should she ever need it.
