The circa-1982 Minolta Hi-Matic AF2-M is the third iteration of the company's classic fixed lens autofocus lineup. This camera keeps the superb 38mm f/2.8 (4 elements in 3 groups) lens of the AF-2 but adds a motorized film advance and rewind.

Please note that the film does not rewind automatically on this model. When you reach the end of your film roll, just press the rewind release button on the bottom of the camera and then the click the rewind switch (the camera's main competitors, the Nikon L35AF and Canon Sure Shot, work in a very similar manner).

The AF2-M accepts standard 46mm screw-in filters.

The camera is powered by 2 ordinary AA batteries (not included). A lens cap is included.

Condition notes
The camera is in very good cosmetic condition (see photos) and is working perfectly. It was tested with film and gave excellent results. In addition, we verified the camera's film plane focus with an autocollimator and we confirmed the auto-exposure accuracy using a calibrated light and a shutter tester.
