Kurz, who died Wednesday in his home, owned the Riverdale theater before becoming village clerk. He was financial secretary of St. Luke Catholic Order of Foresters for 40 years. Surviving are three sons, Peter Edward, and the Rev. Elmo, a mathematics professor at Quincy 111.
