This popular Saturday program in the fall introduces children to recreational football with an emphasis on safety, setting the stage for practices and games. League is available for grades K – 2.

Team Formation

Teams are organized by grade. Age levels or schools may be combined to form teams, if necessary.

Submit a Friendship Request

Friendship requests must be reciprocal and submitted prior to the early fee deadline.

Equipment and Uniforms

All players receive a team jersey. The Park District provides all other necessary equipment. Each player is responsible for all-purpose athletic shoes with rubber cleats.

Practices/Games

Kindergarten will practice and play games on Sunday; 1st/2nd has one practice per week (scheduled by the coach) with games on the Saturday. Games use age-specific rules. Team up with the Northbrook Park District to play football! The program strives to provide a fun and safe atmosphere in which children can learn respect, sportsmanship and football skills. All players receive equal playing time and are introduced to all positions. Team formation begins after early registration fee deadline. Team placement is not guaranteed after deadline. An email with your child’s team roster, coach, game location and full season schedule (including weekly game times) will be emailed prior to the start of the season.
