HELL, MI - It’s not officially winter in Michigan until Hell freezes over. The water flowing through the dam has officially frozen in Hell, the tiny Michigan town located about 20 minutes northwest of Ann Arbor.

It took a streak of frigid February weather barely making it into the 20s during the day, and dropping into the low teens or single digits at night to freeze Hell’s dam on Hell Creek.
