30 photographs (collotype prints) of Palestine by Felix Bonfils, mounted on cardboard plates and titled in English on the plates. Inserted in the original folder with an illustration in color on the front.
Among the photographed sites: Jerusalem (view of the city, Dome of the Rock, Nablus Gate, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and more), Valley of Jehoshaphat, Bethlehem, Tiberias, Hebron, Jaffa, the Dead Sea, and Nablus.
Plates: 32.5X24 cm, folder: 34X25 cm. Good overall condition. Slight stains and defects to margins of plates (photographs are in good condition). Tears and defects to folder. Spine and flaps of folder are reinforced with adhesive tape.
