Fans of TheSanta Clause (1994) thought they had seen the last installment of the series back when the third movie wrapped in 2006. But lucky for viewers, the Santa Clause franchise is returning this Christmas season in the form of a new TV show called The Santa Clauses. While ecstatically watching fan-favorite cast members Tim Allen, David Krumholtz and Eric Lloyd reprise their unforgettable characters, many are reflecting on the magic of the original movie, which premiered 27 years ago. And so, as you dive into the new series this November and December, take a look at what The Santa Clause cast has been up to since the first movie premiered.
Years later, Tim is still a huge name in the industry. Tim has continued doing the voice for Buzz Lightyear over the years and starred in Toy Story 4when it was released in June 2019. After filming the last Santa Clause movie in 2006, the 69-year-old also starred as Mike Baxter on Last Man Standingfor eleven seasons up until May 2021.

Judge, 65, has been busy racking up acting credits over the years. The year 2017 was particularly busy for him as he took on three major projects: Four Christmases and a Wedding, Bad Grandmas, and Highly Functional. It was recently announced he will reprise his role as Detective Billy Rosewood in the upcoming 2023 movie Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley alongside Eddie Murphy and Kevin Bacon.

Like Judge, Wendy was a well-known star in the '80s before taking on the role of Laura. More specifically, she appeared in many TV series and TV movies – Hard Copy (Blake Calisher), Tanner '88 (Joanna Buckley) and Studio 5-B (Gali Browning) to name a few.
Adorable little Charlie made hearts explode everywhere when TheSanta Clausedebuted. While he was only eight years old when he appeared on screen as Scott's son, Eric had already played David in Sunny's Deliverance, Leo Hill in Laurie Hill, and young Kevin Arnold in The Wonder Years. Red carpet photos of Eric now are hard to come by, probably because he's primarily working behind the camera these days. As Eric's website states, the 36-year-old now works as a director, editor, audio engineer, and producer for his production company LP Studios in L.A.
After playing Bernard the Elf in 1994, David started popping up everywhere throughout the rest of the decade. Some of his most notable parts include playing Billy in Chicago Sons, David in Monty, and Michael in 10 Things I Hate About You.

Now 44, David has accomplished a lot in the post-Clause years. He has starred as Rabbi Gill in Living Biblically, Harvey Wasserman in The Deuce, and Timo in All Hail King Julien. More recently he was in Oppenheimer, The White House Plumbers and is currently working on the new TV mini-series Sausage Party: Fooodtopia, all of which are set to debut in 2023.
Judith hasn't slowed down with her work. In the past few years, she's had roles inHow to Get Away with Murder, Castle and The Arrangement. She starred on All American through 2020 and has recently been on Dear White Peopleand From Scratch. Her newest project, a thriller titledGeechee, is in post-production but no word yet on a premiere date.
