Rebecca Ann (Balogh) Balogh Rekeweg

REBECCA ANN (BALOGH) REKEWEG, 65, Fort Wayne, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 29, 2013, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born Sept. 6, 1947, in Fort Wayne, she was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. "She loved comforting and caring for others in their time of need." She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Michael; sons, Steve (Julie), Tony and Jason (Angela) Rekeweg; grandchildren, Acadia, Haley, Gavin, and Cameron Rekeweg; mother, Marie Voirol; and brother, Mark (Diana) Balogh. She was preceded in death by a son, David Rekeweg; and father Frank Balogh. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2013, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 7710 E. State Blvd., Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Steven Ahlersmeyer officiating. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2013, at the church. Burial in St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Church Building Fund or Worship for Shut-Ins. Arrangements by Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home.
