Going back to play on my ps2 I decided to try some of the top rated games on the system. Through a little research I found the great onimusha ad. This is by far one of the best games I've played on the ps2. It has great gameplay with each character having they're own moves.

The storyline while long is good enough to give you a purpose to fight and keeps you entertained. I loved the weapons (there are so many if them) because each one has its own unique effect. One if my favorite things in games is extra levels or secret weapons. The 100 lvls in the dark realm give each character their most powerful weapon. You can actually use it before the final boss which is the best part.
Graphics are great and the sound and music gets an A in my book.

I've played all of the Onimusha series, and this is a great installment. The graphics are amazing for a PS2 standard, and there are a lot of voice acting (you can choose between English and Japanese). The control scheme is the same as the previous Onimusha entries and the story can be a bit cliche at times (felt like a predictable anime movie). It has a lot of replay values too (I clocked in at least 40 hours and still have not got 100% out of the game yet). If you like the Onimusha series with some new fresh faces, pick this one up.

I played all the other onimusha games and loved them very much. Dawn of dreams has a different feel to it but it's no a bad feel. Like to me I can't believe I never played this one. Graphics are pretty good and the soundtrack is amazing! I can't wait to finish it!

This is probably the best Onimusha yet. If you can get past the fact that the main character looks like a goat.

The story is kinda predictable, but long. I think my second play-through was 19 hours. Character leveling is fun; it's kinda like an action-rpg in that sense.

The different characters are fun to play as. Better than goat-boy. Unfortunately, the action is pretty repetitive. If you can handle repitition and liked the past Onimusha games, you'll like this.
