Hi there, it’s sex appeal week. Yes, I was the one who came up with this topic since we were lacking ideas. The character I’ve chosen is my absolute favourite female anime character and I bet many of you will know her well. I speak about the homunculus Lust from Fullmetal Alchemist.

As you might know, there exist two anime versions of Fullmetal Alchemist, the show from 2003 and FMA Brotherhood which is more based on the actual manga. Lust, however, is like a completely different person in those two adaptions.

In the first anime, she was created by Scar’s brother who wanted to resurrect his fallen love, but since human transmutation can’t work, the homunculus Lust was born. Dante took care of her and fed her red stones which gave her human appearance as well as immortality. She develops the desire to become human so she works with the other homunculi like Gluttony and Envy to obtain the philosopher’s stone. Homunculi aren’t able to use alchemy so it’s up to Dante to change them into real humans. But as soon as Lust, understands that this woman will never fulfill her wish (she would lose an important henchman, after all) she decides to defy her and helps the main characters instead. The Lust from this anime is much more likeable than her other half – the evil, dull Lust from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, who works as an infiltrator for Father. She doesn’t develop her personality and is a rather stereotypical villain, but at least she looks still very appealing.

Here are some things I love about her:

• She is hot, to put it simple. Well, that’s from a man’s point of view, and I’m sure you can have a different opinion about that, but I really like her. She has curves, bouncing breasts, shining black hair that looks like ebony silk and beautiful, pale skin. I also like her eyes and her purple eye colour which is very uncommon and shows that she is a being superiour to most humans.

• Her style is great. Yes, I love how she dresses herself in a tight, black dress that shows almost everything a man wants to see (Oh my, I guess I’m coming off really perverted right now…). At the same time, she looks very elegant with those long, black gloves and her high heeled leather boots. And the tattoo on her chest is the cherry on the cake. girls or people with other preferences might find her style slutty or at least provoking, but I really love everything about her appearance and I might never stop talking about it.

• She is evil and she doesn’t hesitate to get things done. Whatever her desire may be, she will do everything to achieve her goal, even killing and torturing people. She will never let herself be overwhelmed by emotions.

• Her abilities. Lust is probably one of the strongest homunculi (I assume Pride and Wrath are the most powerful, but Lust is third). She can change her fingers to razor sharp spears of any desired lenght, allowing her to pierce and destroy everything in her way. Those dangerous weapons are even capable of cutting through stone or steel, making her virtually unstoppable. Aside from that, she also has great regenerative powers and cannot be killed that easily since her wounds, no matter how serious they may be, heal very fast (She even comes back to life after being completely disintegretated by an explosion).

• She’s a good actor. Lust has skilled manipulation to the maximum level; she deceives men who find her attractive and tricks them into doing whatever she wants and giving her information.

• She’s smart. Really smart, especially the first Lust who tended to have philosophical, somehow depressing thoughts about her life, if you can call it like that.

I want to go on forever, but well… I guess you understand why I love Lust. Here you have a chibi of her:
