The Meta co-founder and CEO, 39, shared a selfie in an Instagram post on Sunday showing off his two new injuries.

“Sparring got a little out of hand. May need to update my avatar 🤣,” he wrote in the caption.

Zuckerberg said in an August 2022 interview that he first began studying the martial art form during the COVID-19 pandemic, adding that the sport gave him an energy boost.

"MMA is the perfect thing," Zuckerberg told podcast host Joe Rogan. "After an hour or two of working out, or rolling or wrestling with friends, or training with different folks, it's like now I'm ready to go solve whatever problem at work for the day."

The billionaire also noted on the podcast that he trains with coach Dave Camarillo, who helped him win gold and silver medals in his first jiu jitsu match in May.

"Competed in my first jiu jitsu tournament and won some medals 🥇🥈 for the Guerrilla Jiu Jitsu team," he wrote on Facebook at the time. “Thanks to Dave Camarillo, Khai Wu, and James Terry for training me!

Camarillo posted his own tribute to celebrate Zuckerbeg’s victories on Instagram, sharing how "honored" he was to train, teach and learn from his student.

“I’ve been privileged to witness some amazing individuals do amazing things in my career. And I have been honored to play a small role in their life,” Camarillo said of Zuckerberg’s wins as “one of those times.”

"It's inspiring to see someone so known challenge themselves in a new arena,” he continued. “This goes to show how amazing the art of Jiu-Jitsu really is. It changes you, it enhances the power of will — it is magic. It also attracts some very driven people.”

The martial artist and trainer concluded his message, "You are truly an amazing person. Thank you for sharing your drive, your enthusiasm and your graciousness to all of us! 🙏.”

Most recently, Zuckerberg returned the favor in July when he congratulated Camarillo for achieving his fifth degree black belt in the sport.

“You're a great coach and I've learned so much about fighting and life from training with you,” he wrote alongside photos of him and Camarillo bestowed with the honor.

“Also honored to be promoted to compete at blue belt for @guerrillajjsanjose team,” Zuckerberg added, indicating that he has since advanced from the beginner white belt.
