When “Pretty Little Liars” returns this summer, on June 14 to be exact, it will be paired with a new ABC Family original series, “The Nine Lives of Chloe King” and I’m starting to think this could actually trump this January’s “Greek”/”PLL” pairing!
The series is about a young girl who suddenly manifests superpowers only to learn she’s one of the most crucial members in an ancient race, bordering on extinction, who lives every day under the threat of assassination. Yes, this sounds a wee bit like “I Am Number Four,” which is fine with me since that movie’s only weakness was the script.
And while there’s little dialogue used in this teaser trailer, I have all the faith in this network after back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-eek’Huge’-to-back success stories.
