I was in the process of restoring this cool Atari 1040 STF computer, but have decided to pass it along to the next collector. I got as far as purchasing and installing a Gotek Drive which replaces the floppy drive and allows you to load games and programs from your USB stick. I will include the original disk drive if you want to go back to that. I also purchased and installed adaptors that allow you to use a standard USB mouse, and there is another adapter that will allow you to use usb gamepads. The computer is tested and is working but I did not get around to the cosmetic repairs so it still needs cleaning, retrobright, and a few other things. The socket for the power cord is loose and skewed out of place slightly and needs to be stabilized from the inside of the case. The monitor socket is also a little loose and touchy. The monitor works but the controls for volume/brightness/contrast are all locked up so those pots probably need to be replaced (tried contact cleaner from outside the case with no change). I haven't tested any of the midi ports and things on the left side of case.
