The Latest Hayabusa Upgrade: Suzuki HAYABUSA Custom by TG RUN
TG RUN's HAYABUSA
This Hayabusa by Technical Garage RUN (TG-RUN) was displayed at the Over Racing Projects booth at the 2023 Tokyo Motorcycle Show. At the '22 show, it was showcased as a demo bike exhibiting the collaboration between TG-RUN and Over Racing, highlighting the combination of Over's high-quality parts manufacturing technology and TG-RUN's custom expertise. However, this time, a little more was added to the mix.
"Even back in 2022, it was a complete bike with our original parts that could bring out the performance of the current Hayabusa. However, additional parts used for our own customers and demo machines were incorporated, and after a series of setups, we created a complete version of the New Hayabusa" says TG-RUN's Mr. Sugimoto. This includes the Brembo Racing brake system to enhance control, Sunstar's custom brake discs, and lightweight and high-precision Marchesini forged magnesium wheels. The Ohlins suspension absorbs shocks and controls the bike's posture. Magical Racing carbon parts contribute to light weight and aerodynamics. TG-RUN's original Sports and Comfort seat adds to the bike's appeal. The lightness and high maneuverability, effective even for everyday use, embody the true essence of the New Hayabusa.
Handle
The left and right masters are Brembo Racing, and a GP Master is used on the brake side. The handlebars are direct-mounted instead of the standard rubber mounts, and a TG-RUN x OVER Sport Riding Top Bridge Kit is also installed for agile control.
Bodyworks
The trim parts of the body/seat side are painted in TG-RUN's 'Steel' color, including the Carbon Trim Windshield, Cowl Inner Panels, Tank Side Covers, and the Hollow Monocoque structure of the Tank End. Magical Racing carbon parts are installed on various body parts, such as the rear fender and frame guard with ducts, contributing to light weight and high quality.
The TG-RUN x OVER Billet Fender Eliminator Kit adds functional beauty while keeping the rear of the bike clean. The TG-RUN Sport & Comfort Seat provides good footing, seat comfort, and better maneuverability.
Intake & Exhaust
The exhaust is the TG-RUN x OVER TT Formula 4-2-2 Full Titanium, which is popular on its own. The step has also been upgraded for better control to the TG-RUN x OVER Riding Step Kit.
Chassis
The upside-down front fork is by Ohlins. The front brakes feature Brembo Monobloc GP4-RR Racing Calipers paired with TG-RUN and Sunstar Works Expand Disc. The combination of these components delivers high-quality shock absorption, cornering performance, and brake feel.
The rear brakes are Brembo GP2-SS CNC 2P Calipers with TG-RUN x OVER Support and Sunstar Works Expand Disc. The wheels are Marchesini M7R forged magnesium wheels in the same 3.50-17/6.00-17 size as stock. The drive chain has been converted from 530 to RK's 520XXW.
