TG RUN's HAYABUSA

HAYABUSA_TGRUN_01.jpg

"Motorcycles are essentially mass-produced industrial products. In the commercial state, they are safe vehicles that can be ridden by the majority of people without difficulty and at the lowest possible cost. We transform them into the desired form that users envision." The 'desired form,' as mentioned by Mr. Sugimoto, the representative of Technical Garage RUN, refers to the 'TG-RUN Version Up Complete.' This involves carefully selecting parts to extract the best performance from the bike. The highest level of performance not only encompasses power and speed but also prioritizes safety, comfort, and aesthetics. It's something that brings joy just by owning or admiring it. This particular Hayabusa is one of these upgraded complete motorcycles. Its primary use includes city riding and touring. The owner, who also owns a GSX-R1000R for track use, wanted to use the Hayabusa for track riding, so he requested a handlebar setup. The overall silhouette of the motorcycle remained unchanged, with the suspension, wheels, and exhaust being the main components replaced. The color scheme was chosen to match Suzuki's stock colors, with the addition of gold accents provided by Ohlins front forks and Marchesini wheels.

Each part is not only installed but also meticulously fine-tuned based on the owner's skill level and intended usage. The front and rear suspension is the first of these, where the goal is to achieve a lightweight feel while maintaining smooth and high-quality operation. This tuning is particularly effective for the Hayabusa. To be more specific, "sinking lightly and coming back slowly" is repeated in a responsive way. It sinks lightly, but does not spring back up quickly. It ensures a safe and fatigue-free riding experience. The same is true for the brakes, which are Brembo masters and calipers combined with Sunstar brake discs. This changeover not only increases braking power, but also greatly enhances the controllability. The brakes allow for both hard braking and slowly reducing speed, while the suspension allows the slight lowering of the front, allowing for versatility in the rider's riding style. The pleasant feeling of the suspension and brakes is something that many city riders will be attracted to once they experience it. The relaxed handlebar position allows for nimble handling of the Hayabusa, with quick responses when lifting the bike. This setup maintains the Hayabusa's stability-oriented characteristics while enabling swift attainment of the necessary lean angles. Weight reduction and improved control bring out both comfort and safety. The same parts can be used to make a similar product, but in that case, the owner should correctly inform TG-RUN of the purpose and usage of the product. By doing so, the motorcycle will be completed with a setup that exactly matches the way they use it. Of course, changes to the setup as the owner's skills improve and the use of the motorcycle changes (again, this can be communicated to the shop) will also provide a long enjoyment of the motorcycle. The complete upgrade package encompasses all these aspects. If you aim to master the high power output of the Hayabusa, which can sometimes be challenging to handle, this is an upgrade package that demands your attention.

The motorcycle's overall color scheme follows Suzuki's color order plan, featuring Brilliant White and Candy Darling Red. This is complemented by carbon components from Magical Racing, including a carbon trim windshield, racer replica mirrors (type 2 head), and a cowl inner panel.

The TG-RUN Sport & Comfort seat, utilizing low-resilience urethane foam, is designed to facilitate the rider's optimal seating position and ease of reaching the ground. It enhances the feeling of security and improves riding control. Additionally, custom color options for these seat covers are available.

The TG-RUN x OVER billet fender eliminator kit is designed to create a clean tail section. The main body is made of multiple plates machined from aluminum, and the stock blinkers and license plate lights can be used without modification. This kit represents a fusion of TG-RUN's expertise in Hayabusa motorcycles and OVER's advanced manufacturing technology.

The rear shocks feature Ohlins TTXGP technology. The wheels used are Marchesini forged magnesium alloy M7R Genesi wheels, maintaining the stock 3.50-17 size for the front and 6.00-17 size for the rear. The swingarm and links remain stock, the chain and sprocket have been converted from 530 to 520 size with RK's H.C.S. Premium sprocket 02PS and EK 520XXW chain.
