I took this picture on an adventure the four of us shared through New Mexico. Gregory and Allen were there for a Poetry Reading and after that we all went on a hilarious journey through the mountains. Allen brought his Harmonium with him. That was my old van and I was the designated driver (note: NO one else in our crew knew how to drive. Nanao said that he had been good at riding a bicycle and he thought he would be a good driver but after trying for a bit decided it was not such a charming undertaking.) We visited the Shaman (Little Joe) at Taos Pueblo and just kept going. Tai wasn’t in the world yet but she was when Allen visited us the next time in Santa Fe (this was the later date he noted on the earlier picture). I have many photos from both memorable visits.
