It was a pleasure working with Yukmouth and his crew on this issue. Since Yukmouth been in the game for so long, I figured why not have a legend kick some game to today’s generations of musicians. I grew up listening to his single “5 on it” even when I didn’t smoke weed. It banged then, and it bangs now. When I heard that Yuk was interested in Untouchable Magazine, I automatically said Front Cover. I thought to myself, man you only got this dude once. Then said to myself; “you’re an artist too” what is something that people will always remember about this issue for the rest of their lives? Then, the idea came to mind; let’s take them back to the basics with “Hip-Hop Do’s and Don’ts.” Lately, the past couple of years, the artist pool has been getting a little too full. Now everybody and they mama rap literally. I wanted Yuk to give them the basic principles of hip-hop, so they can know what and what not to do. I knew Yukmouth experience in the business, so I knew he was the perfect one to fit my idea and bring my vision to life. I learned so much about Yukmouth himself and the whole Regime family. I had no idea he had so many artists signed to his label; although we were only able to place only a few of his artist in this issue. We hope that you stay in tune and keep reading and watching. I would like to first thank God for all of the blessings so far; I would like to thank my whole team at Untouchable Magazine for rocking with me and

believing in my dream. Without everyone, I would have never pulled through on this issue because for one, my camera was stolen at the 50 Cent concert and I lost all of Yukmouth photos on the memory card along with my camera, 4-5 other memory cards, my camera charger and battery, a light for the camera, and a backpack, and a couple of extra items like my earrings and what not. Big shout out to Nitro Geez for backing me up on the day of the interview and the shoot. Nitro Geez saves the issue, well, the front cover artist photos as you would say but who cares. I would not have a single picture of Yukmouth if it weren’t for him because my camera was stolen. At the end of the day, this taught me how important it is to have a team even if it’s a small team. The devil tried to stop me, but God overpowered him as he does in every situation. My team backed me up when I dropped the ball as CEO. Yeah, players fuck up sometimes too. But what separates me, as an individual is that I never looked at what happened to me as something negative. Not one time did I use what happened to me as an excuse to push it back, not drop the issue, or whatever the case may be? What I want readers to learn from my situation from this issue is make no excuses no matter what. Excuses do nothing but stop you. Instead, figure out alternatives to still achieve that same goal no matter what barrier comes in the way. Everything is in your head. You control it all. You are the only person who can stop you nobody else. Always remember to see good in every situation and remember there is light at the end of the tunnel. Bueno Born and raised in the gritty South Sacramento area that has produced independent rap stars since the early 90’s, Bueno continues his pursuit of hip-hop royalty. Specializing in street music that has mass appeal, Bueno has been building his brand for years. Once told by the late great Mac Dre that he was Sacramento’s “Best Kept Secret,” music and entertainment has always come naturally to Bueno. Once a high school and college basketball star, Bueno eventually transitioned into the rap game. It’s been on ever since.

Fresh off the successful debut of his latest single/video “In My Zone” feat Iamsu, which continues to receive regional radio play, Bueno prepares to release his first studio album since 2013; “The Bag” scheduled for a late first quarter release, finds Bueno in rare form. Quality production and witty rhymes equal good (Bueno) music and “The Bag” delivers both. With the intent of engaging his core fan base face to face, Bueno will embark on a 60-day promotional tour that includes performances, meet & greets, and radio appearances throughout the west coast region. Bueno is no rookie to the music industry. He has scored radio hits such as 2009’s, “6 AM” featuring pop star Bruno Mars and timeless street anthems like “Around the World” featuring deceased Bay Area rap legend The Jacka. Not to mention the numerous other artist (E-40, Mistah Fab, Mac Dre, & more) and producers (The Stereotypes, Cozmo, G1) Bueno has collaborated throughout his career. Now cemented as the latest addition to the legend Yukmouth’s Regime gang his solid foundation and ability to make good music have placed him a position to take his brand to a new level and introduce the world to his catalog. Ne-Yo’s “The Smith’s Foundation” Celebrity Basketball Game

The Biggest Charity Event of summer 17

Regime Edition

Untouchable Magazine covered Grammy award-winning Ne-Yo’s “The Smith’s Foundation” celebrity basketball game on Saturday, August 19th from 2pm-5pm hosted by John Silvers. The matchups were celebrities’ versus influencers. The celebrity team consisted of Tank, Flex Alexander, Daniel “Boobie” Gibson, Pleasure P, Beau “Casper” Smart, Paige Hurd, Bre-Z, and a few others with celebrity coach AJ Johnson also known as Jody Mama from Baby Boy starring Tyrese Gibson. Their competition the influencers consisted of

Don Benjamin, Adam Waheed, Yanira Pache, Tammy Brawner, Erika Ringor, Tonio Skits, Britt Elena, Carey “CareyBoy,” and much more. Each team walked the red carpet as media took photos of them. Keep in mind that as you’re looking at the photos, the burgundy team is the celebrities, and the blue team is the influencers. Be sure to head over to our Youtube channel to see a recap of the

event. Oh yeah, did we mention Eric Bellinger performed at halftime and had both the celebrities and influencers standing up behind him while he rocked the whole crowd? Untouchable Magazine would like to thank Eric Bellinger for the exclusive interview and drop he did for us while on the red carpet. Ne-Yo’s basketball was literally everything you could imagine and more. Everybody who was somebody was there from your favorite singers, TV hosts, actors, and comedians. The V.I.P section was sold out due to the celebrity players inviting their celebrity friends and family out to support them. V.I.P ran for $100 a

{

seat while general admission was $15 to the public Believe it or not, all of this took place in downtown Los Angeles, California at Miguel Contreras Learning Complex. One of the hottest DJ’s from Real 92.3 by the name of DJ Damage was on the ones, and two’s banging all the hottest music out right now such as Cardi B- Bodak Yellow. The celebrities beat the influencers by a couple of points, but I must say it was a very close game. Although this was a fun event and tons of celebrities were involved it was a reason behind NeYo’s whole basketball game in which

{

is why the turnout was so great. The proceeds of the basketball game went to Ne-Yo’s foundation called “The Smith’s Foundation” which is a foundation that is all about supporting and empowering foster youth. As Ne-Yo mentioned it in our recap video on Youtube, it wasn’t about them; it was about the kids. Untouchable Magazine salutes NeYo and his foundation for making a platform like this available for foster youth. We would like to thank Ne-Yo for the drop and all of his support. We wish him nothing but the best. Written by: David Solis

Lee Majors Lee Majors was born in East Palo Alto, California, in a small northern Californian town. Lee Grew up with Scoot of Dem Hoodstarz a rap group signed to SMC Recordings. His mother raised six kids all by herself with limited finances, the family moved to West Oakland where his family frequently switched over from home to home. Even living in hotel rooms at times along the Macarthur Boulevard in the city. Lee’s mother struggled economically yet she persisted in raising her children properly. She would take the kids to eat at Muslim bakeries, where they would eat tofu dishes and brussel sprouts. Lee along with one of his siblings adopted rap aliases, becoming professionally known as Rahmean and Lee Majors. The pair joined up with mutual friend The Reason from West Oakland to form the trio Side Industry. In 1998 the group signed with Million Dollar Dream, a label owned by underground rapper Andre Nickatina. A year later they released their debut album “Everyday life”. The Record without any major distribution, press or promotion went on to sell over 15, 000 copies. Land of Siccness, the sophomore album was released in 2002 and went on to sell over 10,000 copies, though business fizzled out between Side Industry and the label Million Dollar Dream not too long after the release of the second album. Post their stay at Million Dollar Dream, Lee and his brother Rahmean would go on to link up with their cousin internationally gold selling artist Dru Down. In 2006 the trio teamed up to create the album “Cash Me out” which featured the likes of Keak Da Sneak, Yukmouth, The Jacka. It went on to sell over 10,000 copies. The following year the trio went on to release two mixtapes simultaneously “Crack Muzic 1 & 2”. One of the most important things to Lee is family, as seen with many of projects, creating numerous albums with his brother Rahmean and cousin Dru Down. The collaboration album between the three “The House’ was released summer 2007 through Major Muzic/Pimp On Records/urban Life Distribution. The third and fourth volumes of “Crack Muzic” is set to soon release with a trio album between the cousins to soon follow. In all Lee has released over 20 albums on his own with no major distribution or major radio airplay. Be on the lookout for much more from Lee A.K.A the Scraper King, as his production and rap will only get more polished and universal in time.

A Twisted True Story about the Power of Love TV One’s highly-rated, “When Love Kills: The Falicia Blakely Story” starring Lance Gross, Niatia Jessica Kirkland aka Lil Mama, and Tami Roman followed the tragic journey of Falicia Blakely from exotic dancer to mother and finally a convicted murderer. Blakely’s story strikes an all-too familiar chord as it graphically illustrates power and control and the impact of domestic violence. “I was attracted to the script written by Cas Sigers-Beedles and did my own research on the real Falicia Blakely,” said Leah Daniels Butler, an award-winning casting director known for many successful TV and Film project such as “Empire” “The Butler,” and “Precious.” Making her directorial debut, Actress and Acting

Coach Tasha Smith gives audiences a “fly-on-the-wall” perspective into the twisted life of Blakely. Blakely was an under-aged exotic dancer with a young child when she met Dino who would later become her manipulating boyfriend and the reason for her downfall. Within two years of their relationship, Dino led Blakely to a world of sex work, robbery, and the murder of three men in cold blood for the sake of her delusional love for him. In 2002, Blakely, 19, was arrested in Georgia and her crimes made national headlines. “The goal is not to glorify or make light of the heinous crimes that Falicia committed for the sake of love, but to shed light on why she did it,”

said Butler who sits on the board of the A New Way to Life Re-entry Project, a nonprofit organization founded by Social Justice Advocate Susan Burton, which provides housing and support to formerly incarcerated women in Los Angeles. “Her desperation to want to be loved so badly, that she would do anything to keep it, not without conscience but because she had never been shown love before.” To drive the important message home about safety and awareness for girls and young women, TV One partnered with Saving Our Daughters, an organization that helps girls overcome many obstacles such as bullying, dating abuse, domestic violence and other esteem slayers.

Casting talent for challenging roles is one of the many gifts that Leah Daniels-Butler possesses as one of Hollywood’s most visionary casting director and producer. Courtesy Photo. “This film is a cautionary tale about everything love shouldn’t be in our communities,” says TV One SVP of Marketing Lori Hall. “We want this film to be a wake-up call for young people and families and we hope it will start a lot of dialogue in homes around the country.” “We look forward to the positive impact on working together to encourage and change the girls’ lives we serve,” says Saving Our Daughters Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Curtis Benjamin. Since 2009, Benjamin and his wife Debbie made it their mission to empower girls of multicultural backgrounds through film, television, theatre and music. In 2016, the National Domestic Violence Hotline responded to 323,669 calls, chats and texts. Blakely who is serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole is 34 years old and HIV positive. If Blakely had known about a life-saving, round-the-clock hotline, she may not have ended up in a prison cell for life. “When Love Kills: The Falicia Blakely Story” was the opening night film for the 5th Annual Justice on Trial Film Festival held in September in Los Angeles, CA.

TV One’s “When Love Kills: The Falicia Blakely Story” Director Tasha Smith transforms the horrific headlines of a 19-yearold girl turned murderer into a narrative in hopes to save girls and women from a similar fate. Nick Cannon Ncredible Skate Night

Nick Cannon 14

Even though this was Untouchable Magazine first time being in the house at Nick Cannon Ncredible Skate Night during BET weekend, this is not his first time having a skate night. It turns out he does this every year. I guess it’s safe to say Nick Cannon is Ncredible. The event took place June 23 at nine o’clock at Moonlight Rollerway Skating Rink in Glendale, California. Of course, Nick Cannon rented out the whole skating rink, so it made this event invite only. He invited all of his celebrity friends just to name a few Miss America, Steph Lecor signed to “We The Best,” Brittany Elena, Graciii, and tons more. There was beautiful woman everywhere, fly fellas, and lots of falls to the floor. This event was a 21 plus event, so you already know the bar was lit. Nick Cannon and the whole Wild N’ Out family was in the building they turned the skating rink into Hollywood with the red carpet and celebrities. The real party didn’t start until the Ncredible Nick Cannon walked in. He didn’t show up till about midnight because um well let’s just say he had a fashionable excuse. The moment Nick walked in cameras flashed and the party began. The love he received from his people was real. He showed love back to everyone by taking photos with them, stopping by the red carpet jumping in a few photos with his friends and even hitting the skating floor to skate

with them. Nick is a very humble guy and someone we all need to get to know especially if you want an invite to next years to skate night. It’s so much better going to the skating rink with people you know as opposed to people you do not know because fights and drama tend to break out during the end of the night. Everyone enjoyed their night. It was definitely a night to remember.

The Greg Allen King II has proven to leave no stones unturned, making a claim to his Sacramento, Ca kingdom as a music industry mogul, artist owner, and entrepreneur. Having a well-known father in the community and being the eldest of 9 siblings, not becoming the example would not be an option for the first king. At age 14, Greg would begin his journey into developing what would fuel his success, writing and performing. From spoken word events, to open staged events, it would be those first experiences of expression that would lead us to know, not only Greg King the son, but also steadily rising all around artist and CEO, The Gatlin! Lyrical expression and entertainment would ultimately be his passion. By age 19, The Gatlin had officially begun his music career; writing, performing and recording. In 2013, The Gatlin would further his presence in the music industry, creating the label Gutta Werk

ENT. Now artist and CEO, in 2013 under Gutta Werk ENT, the Gatlin would release “General Millz,” then “Passages of the Nameless.” 2014 Would bring a distribution deal with City Hall along with the “Stoners Jacket” release. His activity would be further validation of his talent and purpose, 2015 release included “Tree City; The Movie,” “Stoners Jacket 2”, “Cutthroat Solitare,” and “F.A.M.E.”(For All My Enemies). Many more projects and pieces would come along with these album releas-

es. From mix-tapes to collaborations with artists like E-40, C-Bo, Keak Da Sneak, Marveless, and T-Nutty; Gatlin would continue to build rapport and display his talent and “WERK” ethic. His stage presence would be no different. Performing with other well-known artists such as Wale, Da Brat, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Young Dro, TwistaBerner, and Keak Da Sneak and with home performances at Ace of Spades opening for Jeezy and 2 Chainz. A ten-city tour where he opened up for Travis Scott in Texas would be yet another testament of his grind and with almost 15 years of writing, building and establishing his brand, he would continue to build his network recording at award-winning studios like his home city’s own Omina Lab, with Sacramento Music Group (SMG) and many more. It continues to become evident that The Gatlin is respected far and wide in the music industry, with continued support towards his growth and progression, the talent and fan base to back it up.

MayWeather Two of today’s generation’s most distinguished combat sport’s titans clashed at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada on August 26, 2017, in perhaps the most hyped blockbuster in history. The electrifying spectacle aired via Showtime PPV for an international audience and was presented live for 14,623 erupting fans inside the arena as the two beasts took the ring. With tickets priced anywhere from $500 to $7,500 and even up to $10,000 for premium seating, more than 6,000 tickets ultimately went unsold. Were definitely legendary in the streets. Just wanted to give detail about my neighborhood, about me, my upbringing just wanted to take it back to that Thugged out. So, this is the sequel to the Thugged out basically.

1. What made you do a double album? Well you know I did the double album Thugged out. So a lot of my fans wanted me to go back to that shit. I already had the double album together; I just wanted to split it up because of the attention span of the new era of kids; you know this new millennium got a short attention span. So, if I would have given them two albums the shit would have been played out like within a week. So, I spread it out yadadamean so I could baby feed them yadadamean and just to spread the music out so it can live longer because I had so much shit I was touching on. Once I split it up, I was able to make it two separate albums. The first album

sound totally different from the second one, that’s what I wanted to do I didn’t want to give them two of the same shit, you know. 2. Where did the title come from? Well, I’m Jerold Jr. So my family calls me JJ. So everybody in the neighborhood calls me JJ in the Vill. That’s what they know me as before YukMouth, it was JJ. When I was hustling doing all my dirt on the streets, they called me JJ. So that’s why I called it JJ Based on a Vill story. And based on a Vill story you know the Vill is where I’m from 65th East Oakland you know one of the most notorious projects in Oakland. Let alone one of the most notorious projects in the

3. How do you separate yourself from CEO and artist at Smoke-ALot-Records? Well shit man, artist you know I lock-in and do the music, and as CEO I handle the business. So, you know you wear two hats period. A lot of artist are just good at being an artist they don’t know about the paperwork, points, publishing, mechanicals, royalties, streaming, downloads, digital, and all that. Me knowing about everything you know I handled my own business. I learned how to manage myself, book my own shows, all the shit. Even to record myself in the studio. I don’t mix and master, but I am very hands-on. You know it comes down to being selfmade. That’s definitely what I am self-made hands-on so I can be the CEO and artist all in one.

4. What are some of the struggles that come with creating your own record label? Ahh man! It’s the money, the backing. When you get the deals, joint venture deals, or distribution deals with the big labels. You know they put the backing behind you; you got that machine. When you independent you ain’t got that machine, so it’s all coming out your pocket, it’s all the connections you could bring to the table and network, you could do as far as your label and individually. So, at the end of the day you get more money but it’s still more of a hustle because you have to put more money in yadadamean. Like at the end of the day the label use to front the money, now you got to put up the money, so it’s just a whole different type of thing. But at the end of the day you double, quad-dripple your money everytime you put your money in. Probably stack your money 4x’s when you do put your money in there and put some merchandise out there, press up some albums and actually sale them yourself, just do the shit yourself period. When you put money into yourself, you definitely reap the benefits. 5. What are some of the qualities you look for in an artist before you sign them? Well, I usually look for is can they make a song? You know because a-lot of people could show up and like rap on the spot but can you make a song? Like a lot of niggas can rap on the spot then when they get in that booth they just turn to Mickey Mouse. They ain’t got it. It’s either you got it, or you don’t got it moral of the story. You know some people got it, and some people don’t got it you know straight up. It’s like I don’t know you got to have it. Everybody can rhythm words but you got to have that shit, and i can see if you got it or don’t period. Off the top, I know if you got it or you don’t. 6. Tell up and coming artist five things they need to make it in Hip- Hop? 1. Stay loyal.

2. Know the business. 3. Get a good management and lawyer. 4. Always bet on yourself. 5. And keep grinding because if you don’t grind, you don’t shine. You got to keep putting in work. 7. Tell upcoming artist five things they don’t need to do to make it successful in this HipHop game. 1. Entourages. 2. Groupie bitches they can fuck you. 3. Fucked up management, fucked up lawyer and accountants. 4. Fucked up the label. 5. And fucked up family. 8. Where did you get the idea to have a condom as a mascot with you on stage? Oh, the Luniz Mascot! That was actually my co-partner and my company KZ my manager. She was like “Yo, you know you drew this condom man lets get the mascot like the fucking basketball players and shit. So I’m like “Yo” and she like really found where I can really get the mascot. You know we looked it up and seen little Halloween costumes and shit. It was just pure bullshit. Then she actually found a company like in the Philippines somewhere that make them suits and we got it made. That shit came back looking like a real condom man. Shout out to KZ my manage-

You know they did it one time for us; we were on tour with uhm! I’m ain’t gone say who because I’m not gone disrespect nobody. But we were just on tour and we were third to last, and they bounced that shit fast. To where they made us last man and we weren’t even the headliners, but our shit was that powerful that year they switched it up. I’m not gone say the artist name that got bumped down but yeah man it happens you know.

is C-note Records; we were all signed to the same record label. So, his first album we were on “Ice Cream Man,” “Rescue 911”, all types of songs then it goes down to our album with the “Five On It” remix we just got so much history as a crew just with TDE with Kendrick and all them dudes. They are gonna work together because they are label mates yadadamean. They gone tour together and everything, so we label mates we was label mates, and we just continue to keep the friendship going and keep rocking out until this day.

ment for definitely putting that idea in my head and making it come down. The Condom man that shit kills the show every time; Every time he walking down the hallway he gets all the pictures they don’t want any pictures of us just the Condom man. So its dope we got a mascot. We are the only ones who have a mascot straight up. 9. What gave you the idea to mix your show with Dru Down? We came up with Dru Down. The first nigga that put us on was Dru Down and CNH record label, which

10. Why didn’t you headline the summer kick-off? I don’t know. I mean everybody said that our show was the dopest out of everybody, but I don’t want to disrespect anybody on the lineup. It’s just a peck in order you know. People feel like certain artist you know probably want to be seen. I don’t give a fuck I want to go on first anyways and get the fuck on and get up out of their yadadamean. We were not first, but we definitely were like mid, but still, when we came on we turned that muthafucka up it was kind of dry yadadamean. Shit, when we got on we turned that bitch up; lit it up that’s all I know. They may want to rearrange the line up next time; that’s all I’m say.

11. Are you sponsored by Royal Blunt and their new natural leaf Eastwood Collection? I’m sponsored by Royal Blunt yes. Shout out to Royal Blunt black-owned company they are one of the first tobacco wrap companies in America you know they were doing this shit way before it became famous, so it’s just good to get down with a real company that is just really down that really come from the hood. You want to see black companies do good man, support your own yadadamean. They support me man, so I rock with the whole movement, so they got the Royal Blunts Eastwood, which is just the backwoods type of leaf yadadamean, so I just promote man. They got the glass tips, they got the papers, wraps, natural wraps like the hemp wraps where its tobacco-free, so they just got so many different options if you don’t even smoke tobacco. They got the zags and the hemp free, so it’s an all around dope ass company man so just shout out to Royal Blunts straight up. Loyal to Royal. 12. You have your own vape pens? How did this come about? Where can we find them? Man, shout out to my partners at Don Vape. It’s just a partnership they had the company going before me, and they just put me on board. You know to just help take it to the next level and we been rocking out for a couple of years so shout out to my Don Vape partners you can go to DonVape.com and just cop anything. We got anything from torches to mats; we got vape pens had already filled, the cartridges filled with live resin. Tap in with DonVape.com and get what you need.

13. Tell everyone more about your movie. Will it be on Netflix or Trapflix? I don’t know man. Definitely, Trapflix shouts out to “JT The Bigga Figga.” But I’m going to have that shit on Trapflix, but I have been trying to figure it out. I don’t know if I want to go straight to DVD with it like on the United Ghetto of America type of tip. I’m trying to figure it out yadadamean, but I got to get it done first, and I got the book coming out before that, so yeah we working on it. 14. Can you please tell everyone out there what a 360 deal is? A 360 deal is when the label sign you and they get a piece of everything. Back in the day in the 90’s when you used to sign, you used to get the point deal and that’s all they get. Beside, you know you get your points and the label get of course the rest of the money off the album all the mechanicals and shit like that. You get the points, and they get the real money off the shit. So nowadays the hip-hop game is so fucked up far as hardcopies selling. It’s more of a digital download, pirating, everybody getting shit illegal type of way to where the record label is not making no money. So they came up with the 360 deal to where they get a piece of everything from the artist not only are you signed to them, but they are managing you. So if you do shows, they get a piece of that. If you do any movies or anything they your agent you give your agent money. If you do any merch or any other things like endorsements, sponsorships they get a piece of that. So it’s basically like they are in with the whole long run of the artist career they getting some money out of it because they are not making money anywhere else. With that being said man, just me saying all that shows the importance of the artist. If you could do it without a label and just at the push of a button then just upload some shit on YouTube or Datpiff.com or whatever you know the streaming service you want to upload your shit on it’s just that of a push of a button you don’t really need a record label. I strongly suggest making your own way by itself get viral get on that Internet with a lot of visuals and say fuck the 360 period.

15. Who was Yukmouth before stardom? JJ haha, that’s what this album about man. I was JJ just a dude that came up in the neighborhood had a couple of talents. I knew how to draw really good am a cartoonist. I knew how to play music man I had the trumpet in my hand; my dad was a bass guitar player he put the trumpet in my hand. At the age of 8 in third grade I was playing the trumpet. I was in a marching band I played the sneer drum and the bass drum, so I was always musically inclined. I was tired of going in and out of jail. I was hustling heavy, and I did a year in jail, and that changed my life around. When I came out of jail I was Yukmouth straight up I had a mission I had songs written. I had the Luniz concept with the Condom man drawn, the name, Num name, I had a whole little blueprint. That year time gave me too much time to think, and when I got out, I became somebody different man Yukmouth so yeah that’s who I am. 16. Who do you see being Smoke-ALot next big artist to take the throne once you step down? Oh, my kids hahaha. My daughter can sing her ass off. My son he is a great A&R he than brought me a couple of artists, so I’m gone let him do his thing. My little sons is crazy, so I will give it to my kids and let them take over the empire because like I said I can’t trust any of this artist nowadays yadadamean. 17. When will Yukmouth retire? Man, I’m only 42. If Jay-Z over 50 and still killing they ass I look like I’m in my early 30s man I can pull it off for another five-six years, eight years probably. I could do it till fifty probably yadadamean. It depends on how long my fans have my back basically. You know once the fans die down I’m gone pump my brakes you know I am not gone over-do it. I’m not gone out go like Jordan. You know come back on the Wizards you know ha. I’m gone stay on the Bulls you know ha and go out with that ring yadadamean straight up.

HISTORY The Accelerated Radio Network was founded on the trails of the Accelerated Radio School of Broadcasting (ASOB). It was a longtime dream of Kevin Nash to create a way to expose youth to Radio Broadcasting. His love of radio spawned from early childhood at the age of 11, and in turn became a life-long passion. From the rising success of the Broadcasting School, Mr. Nash’s dream evolved into something bigger. He set out to build a radio station for “Regular Folk,” who love radio and were looking for an opportunity to hone their skills. It also fits as a hub for established radio hosts who simply need a platform to broadcast.

Kevin Nash radiofreekevin @radiofreekevin

The Accelerated Radio Network launched in a tiny studio in Los Angeles in August 2013 with 2 running radio shows. Today Accelerated Radio is broadcasting worldwide with 2 functioning stations in Los Angeles and over 45 running radio shows! The station has a global presence, and is listened to in over 111 countries! Content from the station ranges from Talk Shows, Hip Hop/R&B music shows, Gospel, Neo Soul, Sports Talk Radio, Theater, Health Tips, Mental Health discussions, Business / Finance, and much more! SCHOOL OF BROADCASTING The Accelerated Radio School of Broadcasting was founded in 2008 to teach students the ins and outs of Radio Broadcasting. Studies have shown that some students don’t take to traditional classroom learning so, the ASOB uses subjects like English, Writing, Critical Thinking, Computer Technology, and blends them with Millennial skills like Social Media to create a fun learning environment. The program is aligned with the State of CA Board of Education, STEM, and students can get elective credits for taking the class. ACCELERATED RADIO PRAISE Accelerated Radio Praise (ARP) is a sister Network of Accelerated Radio. Owner, Kevin Nash is very spiritual and wanted ALL to have a place at Accelerated Radio for those who do not listen to secular music. ARP launched in early 2014 following the rapid success of Accelerated Radio. The format is 100% Gospel and Spiritual Programming. The main focus of the stations programming is to Uplift, Inspire, and Build Faith.

Summer time in the LBC

Summer Time in the LBC took place August 5, 2017, at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California. This day was literally a movie. We have over three hours of footage that will be made into a short documentary and placed on our YouTube channel. Believe me when I say this was Long Beach biggest and most cracking music festival of Summer 2017. They had performances from Hieroglyphics & souls of Mischief, The Dogg Pound & Lady of Rage, DJ Quick & Suga Free, Warren G, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, The Dove Shack, YG, Wu-Tang Clan, and the headliner of the whole event was 50 Cent and G-unit. That would

26

not be it if you thought that was it. That was just the nighttime show. This was an all-day event some of the earlier performances were names like Slick Rick, Phora, KRS-ONE, Baby Bash, Brenton Wood and much more. From the moment Untouchable Magazine got to Long Beach, it was a party. Our first stop was on the way to the Residence Inn by Marriott to pick up our passes for the event. Kurupt just so happened to be in the parking lot already turning up with his crew during his photo shoot behind an old school Rolls Royce. After leaving the hotel heading to the show, we

ran into an encounter. While driving through the artist entrance, we had to get out of our cars and let the bomb dogs search the vehicle for bombs and explosives. Everyone was forced to get their car search if they were coming in through the artist entrance they didn’t care celebrity or not. It was not easy getting into this show that is one thing for sure. Once we were finally in, we sat on the back of a golf cart and got escorted to our cabana behind the stage. Now that we are backstage we were in full effect and ready for anything coming our way. DJ Quik, Bone Thugs,

When 50 Cent touched the stage, it was a wrap. He performed all his new music and old classics that everyone knows him from.

Phora, Dogg Pound was all posted backstage with tons of fans who bought VIP tickets, and backstage passes. People were smoking right in front of cops; girls were everywhere, liquor was everywhere, the Queen

Mary was the place to be, not even if you were a local but just in general. People drove from all over the state just to attend this concert and catch some of the great acts in their city during summer 2017. I honestly never saw that many people at a concert in my life. It was a sold-out show. Some females came with their boyfriends and left with new boyfriends, some dudes came with their chicks and left with new ones at the Summer Time in the LBC. When 50 Cent touched the stage, it was a wrap. He performed all his new music and old classics that everyone

knows him from. He walked off stage and took one or two photos with fans literally and jumped in the whip. In the mist of capturing 50 Cent whole performance, someone stole one of our cameras out of our cabana. Thank God! We didn’t lose any footage that we captured from this event, but we took a big poster on our camera along with all the equipment such as memory cards, lights, chargers, battery pack. As a result, it just made us go harder. Now we film everything in 4k as opposed to 1080P. Written by David Solis

1. How is it being a father, husband, and cook at the same time? Do you do the majority of the cooking in your household? I think it’s great! Being a father is one of the best feelings in the world. My kids get to see me cook and follow my passion. I have the support from my wife 100%. She’s the backbone of my family, without her I wouldn’t be able to travel and move freely as I do. I do most of the cooking. I love going to the grocery store; I think it’s fun. Cooking is therapy for me; it’s a sense of calm and peace.

2. Tell the readers about the experience in culinary school. Going to culinary school was fun and challenging. I attended Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in Sacramento, Ca. The program was a yearlong 5 days a week. The fun part was learning and getting properly trained, meeting new people, the instructors, trying new food and learning new techniques. But I almost didn’t finish school. Three weeks after school started, I tore my rotor cuff, bicep tendon and a bone chipped off my left shoulder lifting weights. I was devastated. I informed the school whom then informed me I could take some time off and come back. It was not in my plan mentally. I had to finish. After a 5 ½ hour surgery December 11, 2014, I went back to school 2 days later. I had to sleep in a recliner, and my wife had to dress me for 3 months. Painkillers were out the question because I had to drive to school. That was a 1 ½ hour drive just one way; I still can’t believe I did that

Starring Ray J Ray J’s after party took place not too far from the TCL Chinese theatre. Lure nightclub in Hollywood is where it all went down. When I say this after party was the place to be I mean this after party was the place to be. Everyone walked the carpet and got exclusive interviews and was very proud of their friend Ray J. They were happy to be there to celebrate his success with him. Power 106 DJ Inferno was on the one’s and two’s. He played the hottest and latest joints. He had the dance-floor going up. The party went on all night as everyone danced the night away. This was definitely a night and or party you did not want to miss because Ray J performed a few of his singles that night. During his performance he was throwing his Raytroniks smart fans to the crowd. Some people got one some people got two. The crowd reaction was crazy. The amount of love he received was off the unimaginable.

We captured some of the best memories from Ray J party on camera. As soon as you entered the building you could see the white fancy chandelier hanging from the ceiling to blow your mind away. Secondly, they had VIP tables on both sides of the club and a private VIP section on the stage where the DJ booth was. Everything about the venue was dope. It was a huge success Ray J done it again. Once the night ended he took off with his crew Ray J driving with his wife in the passenger seat, producer Knotch in the backseat, specials thanks to Lookhu and NRPR Group for inviting Untouchable Magazine out and letting us be apart of this experience.

Ray J’s Visual Album screening After-Party for Raydemption The summer of 2017 on the day July 8 Untouchable Magazine witnesses something never seen before by a musician. Singer, actor, and businessman Ray J introduces his first ever-visual album screening. The screening took place in Hollywood at the TCL Chinese theatre. There was a numerous of short films played by film directors from all over the world. Indie Night is something that takes place every Saturday. This time it was Ray J turn to show off how great his team is. Everyone walked the red carpet into the theatre to his or her seat to enjoy a great experience. Ray J had his whole team in VIP. Yes in the movie theatre. The whole bottom section of the theatre was just for Ray J and his entourage. Televisions personality Safaree, actor Jackie Long, of course his wife Princess Love Norwood was there just to name a few of his guest. He pasted out Raytroniks smart fans that attach to your phone to generate cooling air to his whole squad. Before starting the films Dave Brown the host of Indie Night introduced a couple of the films we will be watching and the film makers and just a little bit of what to expect. The first film goes by, followed by the second, and so on before we finally reach what everyone came to see “Raydemption.” Ray J walks on the stage and introduces his brand new never before seen film to everyone who was there. Okay now everyone be quiet the film is about to start. This is the moment we all been waiting for. Everyone grabs their popcorn, sodas, and get comfortable to enjoy “Raydemption”. The film broke down a lot of Ray J’s past life situation, a combination of music videos, and tons of excitement. While the film is playing I turned around and seen some people recording it on their phones. That showed me how thrilled they were to see the film. I thought in my head. Ray J did it again. The film lasted about forty-five minutes till an hour. Right after Ray J went back on stage to talk about his film. The host Dave Brown asked him questions about the film and his perspective on everything. The more Ray J answered questions the more it made sense. The whole crowd claps as Ray J leaves the stage and leaves the theatre while everyone else remains seated.

Untouchable Magazine soon later left the theatre as well and went outside of the main lobby to only discover Ray J himself. Fans started to gather around him and asked for photos. Untouchable Magazine of course was there first hand to take photos of everyone with Ray J. We moved from outside to back in the theatre main lobby. Now at this time everyone has left the theatre and is networking in the main lobby. Then we seen Safaree again but this time outside of the theatre and that’s were we got the chance to have the Brooklyn Rapper Safaree take a photo holding issue 6 of Untouchable Magazine with Melvin Jackson Jr. on the Front Cover. Then all of a sudden Ray J pulls up on a Raytronik Scoot-E-Bike. Fans started to approach him and question him about his new bike. As a result Ray J talks to everyone and explains what the Scoot-E-Bike is, how fast it goes, and where you can purchase it. Staff started to complain and someone asked Ray J nicely is he would “please not ride the bike inside.” In the meantime he continued to take photos with everyone has he walked the bike along his side. He took photos of everyone with himself and the bike. Photo after photo, supporter after supporter, fan after fan Ray J keep taking them with his fans. We also captured Ray J holding issue 6 of Untouchable Magazine. Big thanks to Ray J for the love. Ray J ended the event with telling everyone about his big after–party he was having along with his celebrity friends he invited out. Love and Hip-Hop Hollywood Safaree and Ray J were chopping it up as they were leaving the building. Untouchable Magazine got it all on camera. Ray J was sitting on his bike walking it while Safaree is on his side. They literally walked all the way out of the TCL Chinese theatre onto Hollywood Blvd. Someone walked passed Ray J and said “is that Ray J?” and I said yeah. He was “what the fuck this is crazy” and immediately turned back around and followed him. Then a rapper on Hollywood Blvd tries to get Ray J to purchase one of his cds. He says “Hey Ray J can you support a brother.” Ray J replies “Do you take card”, the Hollywood Rapper say, “No”. Ray J carried on walking his brand new Scoot-E-Bike down Hollywood Blvd with Safaree till they got in their whips and took off.
