Percival is an Ally Character in Granblue Fantasy Relink. Percival is a lordly knight who uses his specialization of wielding a blade and harnessing the element of fire to charge and strike through his foes with increased power. Allies or Companions in Granblue Fantasy Relink are recruitable characters that join The Captain's party in both exploration and combat.

They are all unique in many ways such as the element they control, weapon specialization, combat style, personality, and appearance. In Granblue Fantasy Relink, players can make a party of 4 where the leftmost slot is the one the player controls, but in the main story, The Captain must be in the party for the main story, otherwise, they can play as any character they like.

How to Recruit Percival in GBF Relink

• Percival can be recruited by using a Crewmate Card at Siero's Knickknack Shack. The Character Recruitment feature becomes available at the start of Chapter 4: Skies Forever Blue.
• Players can acquire Crewmate Card from Siero by progressing the main campaign or story. The following chapters where players acquire a Crewmate Card from Siero are as follows:
  • Chapter 4: Skies Forever Blue: x1 Crewmate Card
  • Chapter 6: In Search of Hope: x1 Crewmate Card
  • Chapter 8: Relink: x1 Crewmate Card
• Crewmate Cards in GBF Relink can be acquired as a reward for completing specific side quests from a town's "Quest Counter".

 

Percival Combat Guide for Granblue Fantasy Relink

This knight travels the skies in hopes of creating his ideal country. He is known as the "Lord of Flames" for his prowess with a sword and ability to manipulate fire.

When controlling Percival, press ▢ repeatedly to perform a combo. Percival's △ attacks can be charged to unleash more power. By charging, Percival can move, and he will not flinch or be interrupted if he gets hit by an attack. If charged at the right time after performing a link attack or activating a damage skill, his △ attack charges much faster. It is highly recommended to learn Adrenaline Rush from his masteries to double the speed of his charged attacks.

With Percival's kit, players can build a great Damage / DPS build with him and his skills that would also be effective through endgame. Percival utilizes fire attacks to deal DPS, and his powers are enhanced when charged. He has a basic set of attacks and combos. His secondary attack, Schlacht, is a chargeable attack and is the highlight of his kit, but runs a risk of making him vulnerable during the lengthy charging time of the charge unless you use skills to enhance it.

Once dealt accompanied with a skill or combo such as Flammen Rustung. With Flammen Rustung, Foe attacks won’t interrupt Percival while he’s charging Schlacht. Because of this combination of effects, players will also need to utilize his combos and combo finishers in order to reduce the charging time of Schlacht. Once players get used to this rotation, players will be able to maximize the usage of Schlacht and be constantly in an AoE blaze of fire. This combination also works with Feuerangriff which is a skill that Unleashes a series of slashes, but also allows Schlacht to charge faster when dealt together. 

One approach to create a build with Percival would be to focus on equipping items that will reduce his cooldown as much as possible which will allow players to utilize his skills more and take advantage of the strengths of his charged attack. With Adrenaline Rush, Greatly increases Schlacht’s charge speed when charged immediately after a combo finisher. His skills all work to enhance the effects of attacks and to d can be used to grant him or his allies buffs making him a great offensive addition to a team for those who want to play aggressively and enjoy the use of large charged attacks and dealing combos.

Percival Fate Episodes

Fate Episodes are a special feature in the game wherein players get to see each Ally's point of view of the events that happen throughout the story. Each Episode is a fully-voiced diary entry of sorts that allows the player to peer into the mind of the character as the story progresses. More Fate Episodes are unlocked as players progress through the story, as the characters level up, and as players complete more Fate Episodes. Completing Fate Episodes rewards players with stat bonuses and even unlocks slots for equipping Sigils.
