ROCK HILL, S.C. – Senior forward Richard Nunez (North Miami Beach, Fla.) of the Limestone University men's basketball team has been named the South Atlantic Conference Varsity Gems Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played during week four of the 2022-23 season, the Conference announced today.

Nunez guided the Saints to a pair of wins, including a 102-98 overtime SAC win over Emory & Henry last week. Over the span of two games, Nunez averaged 18.5 points, 8 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game for the Saints. He recorded a team-high 26 points while going 9-for-9 from the field in Limestone's conference win over the Wasps.
