Gliosarcoma is a rare malignant brain tumor, accounting for 1.8 to 8% of all glial tumors. This entity raises several questions concerning histopathological diagnostic criteria, pathogenesis and therapeutic management. Through tow clinical cases and literature review, we describe the main clinical features; we also show the different radiological spectrum in sectional imaging of this extremely rare brain tumor.

We report two cases of Gliosarcoma diagnosed in the department of radiology of the university hospital of Fez during the last four years; the diagnosis was confirmed by a histological study. Case 1: 43-year-old male patient, without any pathological history, admitted for right hemiparesis. Gliosarcoma is a biphasic tumor of the central nervous system, associating a glioblastoma-type glial contingent and a sarcomatous contingent.This tumor was first described by Stroebe in 1895 [1].
