Solution

Rete testis:

  1. It is dilated intra-testicular structure, a network of small tubes in the testicle that helps move sperm cells (male reproductive cells) from the testicle to the epididymis.
  2. Matured sperms are stored in the epididymis until the process of ejaculation.
  3. They are located near the arterial supply of the testis which comes from the testicular artery.
  4. The main function of rete testis is the collection and transfer of sperms from the testicle to the epididymis.
