This Mazda NA MX-5 Miata got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1996 Mazda MX-5 Miata was initially delivered to D.Dahle Mazda of Murray, Utah prior to being purchased by the current owner in 2008 and now shows 40k miles. Finished in Montego Blue over black cloth upholstery, the car is powered by a 1.8-liter DOHC inline-four linked with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a black soft top, pop-up headlights, power steering, a rear luggage rack, 14″ wheels, crank windows, a cassette stereo, and air conditioning. This NA Miata is now offered on dealer consignment at no reserve with a window sticker, service records, factory literature, a tonneau cover, a Carfax report, and a clean Idaho title.
The car is finished in Montego Blue and features a black soft top. Additional equipment includes pop-up headlights, chrome door handles, painted mirror caps, a chrome rear luggage rack, and a single exhaust outlet. A February 2000 entry of the Carfax report lists damage to the front, and the seller notes a replacement front bumper cover has been fitted. Paint chips and blemishes are located on the body, photos of which are presented in the gallery below.
The 14″ steel wheels are mounted with 185/60 Cooper LifeLiner Touring SLE tires. A spare is located in the trunk. The car is equipped with variable-assist power steering and a fully independent suspension.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black cloth along with color-coordinated dash, door panels, and carpets. Miata-branded floor mats line the footwells, and interior amenities include a cassette stereo, air conditioning, and crank windows. A tonneau cover is included in the sale.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 40k miles.
The 1.8-liter DOHC inline-four was factory rated at 133 horsepower and 114 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in September 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to D.Dahle Mazda of Murray, Utah, along with factory colors, equipment, options, and a total vehicle price of $20,180.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned February 2000 accident and lists history in Utah and Idaho.
