Gilberte Anne Elizee, age 65, of Miramar, Florida, passed away October 11, 2021. She was born in Port au Prince, Haiti on May 17, 1956 to the late Rene Moravia and Marie St. Fleur.
From her husband, Dr. Georges Darnley Elizee:
It’s with a heavy heart and great sorrow that I wish to inform you of the passing of my dear wife of 46 years, Gilberte Anne Elizee. She took on her angel’s wings last night at the hospital, surrounded by her beloved family after a valiant fight with breast cancer over the course of the last six (6) years during which she displayed great courage, dignity and resilience.
Wife, mother, sister, grandmother and Registered Nurse, Gilberte Anne Elizee embodied beauty, love, grace and intelligence. She was a compassionate woman with a generous spirit who had an aspirational vision of humanity.
Gilberte Anne Elizee is survived by her husband Dr. Georges Darnley Elizee, her children Gigi Anne Elizee, Dr. Richard Georges Elizee, Scarlette Anne Elizee de Fresnoye, her grandchild Michael McGinley and her sisters Michaelle de Verteuil, Gladys Leon, Florence Rosenberg, Caline Miclisse and Marie Gemma Jean-Charles.
Visitation to be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM, with Prayer Service and Tributes of a Lifetime at 11:00 AM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.

Penible jour. Triste jour que je partage avec vous. Gilberte était forte aimante pacifiste et n’ a vécu que pour vous. Délivrée de ses souffrances elle vous enveloppe de son amour et de sa paix. Soyez fiers d’ elle de ce qu’ elle a été de ce qu’elle a donné et elle est déjà votre ange gardien car la vie ne s’arrête pas à la mort.
