Jackass 3D Premiere in Berlin

The Jackass 3D Premiere was held on Monday 25, October, 2010. I usually get there,  30-45 minutes before the first guest arriving in order to get a good spot! I don’t really care if  I’m in the middle of a crowd because I prefer to be mobile! I see other photographers, such as myself, with ladders and sometimes think I should buy one, but I like to be agile to get other angles. The press guys have the best shots when it comes to the artist looking into the camera and with great lighting and the actors are posing with a super background, but you can get very interesting shots (candid) of the stars which to me are very much as interesting, sometimes better, than what we are given to see in the papers. Think of the Einstein picture of him sticking out his tongue in the car. What a great photo that is!

I heard Johnny Knoxville, Jeff Tremaine and BAM Margera were not expecting a red carpet ordeal but a small press/photo call type of event. Were they wrong! They had a real Berlin Thang happenin!

What made it was a group from “White Trash Club” who made it really interesting! I was wondering if was going to be an orgy before they left the “Black Carpet”. They, definitely, made the premiere extra special! Good idea who ever thought of it! They were one of the first who came on the carpet and the last to leave it. Doing erotic posing and even two women went into the “Johnny-on-the-Spot”, pretending to fulfil a fantasy!

The German guests were mostly women. I don’t follow or even watch television in general but worth mentioning. Alena Gerber, Annica Hanson, Davorka Tovilo and Miriam Höller (A stuntwoman/model/playboy). I know her through my wife and daughter because she was their favourite on Heidi Klum´s Top Model Show!

Johnny, Bam and Jeff were all dressed casually. They took their time signing autographs and it looked to me as if they wanted to stay longer. They seemed as if they genuinely enjoyed the evening! It was mentioned that they would put on a stunt! The only stunt I saw was Jeff jumping of the stage.

Oh yeah! Johnny after his stage interview jumped the barrier, caught his suit jacket on it to meet some screaming fans. I was right there and when he broke from the girls I shouted out something like “Your awesome Philip…Johnny!” I had my hand-held out and he grabbed it in the Indian wrestling hand shake way and looked at me. When I came home, I told my 9-year-old about it and she said without hesitating,” So, I guess you’re not going to wash your hand forever & ever!”

A Jackass Fan since the beginning,

Pete
