Atari 1040 STf

CPU: Motorola 68000 @8MHz, RAM: 1MB, Οperating system: TOS & GEM, Υear: 1986

The Atari STf belongs to Atari ST series of home/personal computers that released in 1986 by the Atari Corporation company. The acronym "ST" came from "Sixteen / Thirty-two", the features of the 68000 microprocessor (16-bit data bus & 32-bit address bus) and the "F" stands for the floppy disk drive which it has built into the base unit. The power supply and the external floppy disk drive were located inside the base unit. It was a color computer and the mouse was plugged under the unit. It was an enhanced version of the 520STf model, with the same features except from its memory (1 MB instead of 512 KB) and floppy disk drive (double-sided floppy disk with a capacity of 720 KB). Also, the 1040STf replaced the 520ST+ model. Atari Corporation discontinued the Atari St series of computers in 1993.
