Vitantonio Liuzzi

Force India

F1 team review - Force India

BBC COMMENTATOR MARTIN BRUNDLE ON FORCE INDIA'S LIUZZI

"Vitantonio Liuzzi had an unexpected chance to convince doubters of his potential following his promotion to the Force India race seat in the wake of Giancarlo Fisichella's move to Ferrari for the final five races of 2009.

"Liuzzi developed a big reputation through his formative years, but he was inconsistent throughout his Formula 1 career at Red Bull and then their junior team Toro Rosso.

"The Italian has shown good pace since his arrival on the grid at Monza but he has not really delivered on it, failing to score a point.

"Liuzzi does have the potential but there is a question mark over whether he can translate that into results."

What is your most embarrassing sporting moment?

Not really embarrassing but my worst year in motorsport was probably in Formula 3. I had a difficult year. I was racing with a team that didn't really understand me. It was my first year in the championship and I really wanted to push hard and go for results, giving 100% but they wanted me to prepare for the next year. I had potential but they had a different approach.
