SOUND PORT

We like small acoustic guitars with vibrant tones and sparkling highs that are easy to play. The obvious disadvantage to guitars like this is a diminished bass response.
Thinking of this problem one day, we realized that engineers building acoustic speakers long ago were facing the same issue. Small speakers don’t produce solid base. The
solution speaker engineers found was to develop the sound port designed to work with a small cabinet’s volume to emphasize the low frequency within the required spectrum.

An acoustic guitar is a “sound box”. We designed a sound port that is hidden inside of the guitar and tuned to help bring up the low end frequency. Is it crazy? Hmm… not
according to our standards.

We’re still experimenting with this concept, but small guitars (19” x 15”) with this feature give out an ample amount of bass.
